Proverbs 3:18-19

18 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;

Proverbs 11:30

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,
and he who wins souls is wise.

Proverbs 13:12

12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Proverbs 15:3-5

4 The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

Hope is best fresh. Since graduation I have been experiencing a little hope differed, and it really does make a heart sick. That is where I am presently, but that is not where it ends. I love how the Bible is full of buts, this but tells me, very soon I will experience life springing out of the earth. That gives me very real and fresh hope.

I think this song is fitting to the topic above. It is one of Denison's lesser known song, but one of his best in my opinion.
