Day Three

Many of the legendary artists of Motown got there start playing music or singing in church. Making it all the more controversial when these artists started creating "secular" songs about suggestive themes. So today, I recorded in a church; my home church to be exact. I used all the little fun percussion toys and for once I enjoyed laying some conga down on a recording. Must be that Motown spirit!

I found this really interesting article the other day and thought I would post it just in case people are wondering what's going on... in Detroit. Detroit statistics. Michigan is definitely not like a scene from Mel Gibson's Mad Max or Escape From LA. It's actually an amazing city, just a little down on its luck currently. See ya later.
